Assembly Automation

Scalable product assembly, from specialty low volume / high mix requirements, to high volume / fully automated processing, is a strength of Forefront Medical that allow customers to cost effectively develop new product. Programmable PLC controls, semi-automation and full automation using palletised conveyor systems, pick-and-place robots and flexible transfer fixturing are integrated into the assembly process, based on customers’ unique requirements.

	Pallets carry components through various stages.
		Optical sensors locate the check valve in place for a pneumatic gripper.
Robotic adhesive dispensing and UV curing.
			Robotic assembly using SCARA robot.
